B&V Group buying Bajnok Center and looking for property

B&V Group took over its latest purchase, Bajnok Center offices on March 1.
The office building with an area of about 5,000 square meters fits in B&V Group's
portfolio. It started a new business strategy called "A quality offices for B category
prices" answering to the change of demand from the tenants and the current market
conditions.
"This building is another step in the development of the group in Hungary. We are
planning to buy further properties of the same type and we believe that the market will
acknowledge the serious investment intentions of our group" said Melinda Szűcs, CEO
of B&V Group Zrt.
Bajnok Center offices is well known in
the market of its good location and special services
like sauna, golf-practicing course and others. After the takeover of
the building, B&V Group will make some improvements to meet the
quality requirements of the market, and it will also work on increasing
the leased space
ratio that currently stands around 80%.
B&V Group's Hungária Office Building undergoes major refurbishment

Meanwhile the municipality builds new asphalt road on Thököly út,
B&V Group has started the major refurbishment of their headquarters
located at the corner of Hungária körút and Thököly út. The complete
refurbishment of the office building, which was built in 1992, includes
the facade, backyard, main entrance, staircases and office areas as
well. The engineering systems including heating and cooling are
modernized, and a new cafeteria service provider offers various types
of delicious lunch for the employees on the top floor of the building.
The refurbishment works are planned to be completed by the first
quarter of 2010, during which period the office building still welcomes
new tenants.
B&V Group CEO Melinda Szűcs
explains that her company wants to refurbish the office building as
much as possible to 'A' class standards, which then will be offered for
lease at 'B' class rent levels. The final product will be even more
attractive to potential tenants seeking offices in District 14.
New head of property management at B&V Group

Péter Szijártó is the new Head of Property Management at B&V Group,
one of the leading providers of real estate consultancy and property
management services on the Hungarian market. Péter Szijártó has been
working on the real estate market since 1991. He started his carreer at
Állami Biztosító - which was later privatized by the multinational
insurance group AEGON - where he was responsible for the utilization
and management of the company's large property portfolio. Later on he
joined Cushman & Wakefield and provided asset management for
various multinational organizations in the office, retail and
industrial sectors alike.
Before his new assignment he worked for
Brook Henderson Hungary Kft. as development director, responsible for
hotel and office development projects. Peter completed the MSc in Real
Estate postgraduate course in 1998, which is a joint award by the
Nottingham Trent University (UK), the Budapest Technical University and
the University of Economic Sciences Budapest. He is a professional
Member of the RICS since 2000.
B&V Group appointed as property manager of Atlanta Center

Facility
and property management service provider B&V Group has been
appointed as the new property manager and retail letting agency for
Atlanta Center strip mall located at SCB shopping center in
Törökbálint. With a total lettable retail area of 15,000 sqm the strip
mall has anchor tenants of Office Depot, Diego, Natuzzi and Hopplá
Shoes.
B&V Group CEO Melinda Szűcs
explains that her company has been appointed to bring life and revive
Atlanta Center, which used to be very popular before. Ms. Szucs is
convinced that her team can successfully increase the popularity of the
mall and its close neighbourhood by efficient property management, by
new marketing strategy and by selecting the right tenant-mix.
Furthermore the new office and retail developments in the close
neighbourhood can also add value to Atlanta Center.
New investment advisor in B&V Group

In order to strengthen the investment team of B&V Group, István
Donázy has joined the company as investment advisor to become
responsible for new acquisitions of B&V Group as well as to provide
investment consultancy services to property investors. Mr. Donázy used
to work for Műszertechnika Group and Wallis Group as commercial
manager, and also for Kipszer Rt. as vice-president of project
financing. He later joined K&H Leasing to establish the property
leasing division, and then he worked as an investment advisor for CB
Richard Ellis Hungary.
Mr. Donázy has gained considerable
experience and excellent network of contacts with Hungarian and foreign
property investment companies, real estate funds and lending banks. His
presence in B&V Group shall add further value to B&V Group.
B&V Group joins to lease Margit Ház office building

B&V Group brings medical equipment manufacturer tenant to Flórián Udvar

The
global medical device company Synthes Medical has selected new offices
in Flórián Udvar at the Buda leg of Árpád bridge. The tenant has chosen
Flórián Udvar because of its favourable location, easy access and
stylish building design. In this office leasing transaction the tenant
was represented by B&V Group, while the landlord was represented by
Eston.
New head of agency at B&V Group

dr. Würsching Péter LL.M. is the new Head of Agency at B&V Group,
one of the leading providers of real estate consultancy and property
management services on the Hungarian market. Before his new assignment,
he worked for ProLogis as built-to-suit development manager and CBRE as
the leader of the Industrial Agency at the Budapest office. Peter holds
a diploma in Law and State Sciences (Miskolc University) and also an
LL.M. in International Business and Trade Law from Erasmus University
Rotterdam and spent a five month trainee period at the European
Commission Transport and Energy DG in Brussels. In his new position he
is responsible for the management of tenant and landlord
representations, investment, research and consultancy at B&V Group.
As he stated, despite of the present adverse market situation he
foresees a great chance and potential to increase the company's market
share in the investment, letting and property management segments.
B&V Group signs new lease with OTP Facility Management in Hungária Irodaház

The facility management arm of OTP (OTP Létesítményüzemeltető Kft.) has
moved its offices to Hungária Office Building, owned by B&V Group.
"The fit-out of our new office areas are excellent, the technical
staff of B&V Group has built our new areas very quickly and the
results well meet our expectations." - explained OTP CEO Mr. Csaba Simon.
B&V Group and CEP Invest sign agency contract for lettings

CEP Invest Kft. and B&V Group has signed agency contract to let
office buildings owned by CEP Invest. The new contract allowed B&V
Group to let the following office buildings on an exclusive basis:
Nádor Iroda- és Aukciósház, Átrium House, Kiscelli 100, Kiscelli 104
and Hattyúház. CEP Invest is a real estate development and facility
management company with a portfolio of over HUF 100 Million value that
consists of 95,000 sqm offices, 20,000 sqm industrial and 35,000 sqm
hotels.
